Orders are placed by WhatsApp, email or phone. We will send you a written quotation setting out the meals, the drinks, the delivery fee and the total. Your order is confirmed once you accept the quotation and payment is received. Quotations are valid for 7 days.
Prices are quoted per order and depend on the number of meals, any personalisation and your delivery area. Delivery is charged separately according to your postcode. Payment is due before delivery and is taken through Square.
We deliver across London and to selected areas just outside it. Delivery days and times are agreed with you for each order. Please make sure someone is available to receive the food, as it is chilled and must be refrigerated promptly. If nobody is available and we cannot leave the order safely, we may not be able to redeliver and the order may be lost.
Because meals are freshly prepared to order, the right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 does not apply once preparation has begun. This is the standard exception for perishable goods and for goods made to your specification.
You may change or cancel your order free of charge up to 48 hours before the agreed delivery time. After that point we may have bought ingredients and started preparation, and we may not be able to refund the order.
This does not affect your legal rights if the food we deliver is not of satisfactory quality, not as described, or not fit to eat.
Please tell us about any allergies or intolerances before you order. Allergen information is provided before you order and again with your delivery, on the label of each meal.
Our meals are prepared in a kitchen that also handles eggs, milk, fish, celery, mustard, soybeans, sesame and tree nuts. We take care to avoid cross-contamination, but we cannot guarantee that any meal is completely free from traces of an allergen. If your allergy is severe, please speak to us before ordering.
Meals are cooked and delivered on the same day. On arrival, freeze the meals you will not eat within 48 hours — frozen on the day of delivery they keep for up to 3 months — and refrigerate the rest at 5°C or below. Meals kept in the fridge must be eaten within 48 hours; dishes containing rice within 24 hours. Do not freeze a meal that has already been refrigerated for a day or more.
Defrost frozen meals in the fridge, allowing 8 to 12 hours, and eat within 24 hours of thawing. Never defrost at room temperature. Meals may also be reheated from frozen. Reheat until steaming hot throughout, allowing 2 minutes standing time before eating, and reheat once only. Heating instructions are printed on every meal.
Once the food has been delivered to you, storing and reheating it correctly is your responsibility.
Calorie counts and nutritional values are calculated and reviewed by our dietitian, Dr. Camila Cardoso, PhD, MSc, an HCPC Registered Specialist Dietitian (DT033109). Values are per portion and may vary slightly with seasonal ingredients and personalisation.
Our meals are food, not a medical or weight-loss programme, and are not a substitute for advice from your doctor. If you have a medical condition or are being treated by a healthcare professional, please speak to them before making significant changes to your diet.
If something is wrong with your order, contact us on WhatsApp or at hello@gotohealth.uk as soon as possible, and within 24 hours of delivery where the issue relates to the food itself, so we can look into it while the meals are still in date.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
