What we collect

  • Your name, delivery address, postcode, phone number and email
  • Your order details, meal preferences and delivery instructions
  • Any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements you tell us about
  • Messages you send us by WhatsApp, email or the contact form
  • The postcode you enter into the delivery checker, which is used in your browser only and is not stored or sent to us

Why we collect it

  • To prepare and deliver your order, and to contact you about it
  • To keep you safe: allergy and dietary information is used to prepare your meals and label them correctly
  • To issue quotations and invoices, and to take payment
  • To keep business records required by law, including food safety traceability

Our legal basis is performance of our contract with you for orders, and legal obligation for record keeping. Where you give us health-related information such as allergies, we use it only to prepare your food safely.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only where necessary:

  • Our delivery driver, who receives your name, address and delivery time
  • Our payment provider, Square, which processes payments and holds its own records
  • Our dietitian, where meals are personalised to your nutritional needs
  • Authorities such as environmental health, where we are legally required to do so

How long we keep it

Order and delivery records are kept for as long as needed to run the business and meet tax and food safety obligations. Messages and enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted once they are no longer needed.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we use it, and to ask us to restrict its use. To do any of these, email hello@gotohealth.uk.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
